Llanfairfechan Ladies return to training – and seek a new manager

Llanfairfechan Town Ladies football training will resume this Wednesday at the Recreation Ground – and they are on the lookout for a new manager.

The training will run under FAW Phase 2 Covid Guidelines which will be explained to all players before the session.

All current and new players are welcome.

Please notify team captain Maddie Williams or club secretary Dave Roberts that you are attending beforehand so player numbers can be managed. Training is due to start from 6:30 pm.

Secretary Roberts said: “Following on from our first successful season in the North Wales Recreational League, the club has agreed with the current playing squad that we are to carry on playing within the Recreational League, or if the league does not carry on we will continue to play non-competitive friendly matches.”

Llanfairfechan are also seeking a manager for the 2020-21 season.

Sadie Richards, who managed the team in their debut season, is stepping down to take time out for family reasons as she is expecting a baby later this year.

Dave Roberts added: “The club would like to thank Sadie for all her hard work and both on and off the pitch and wish her and her family all the very best with the new baby.”

Therefore with Sadie standing down the club are actively looking for a new ladies manager for the forthcoming season.

If you would like to put yourself forward or recommend someone for the role please private message club secretary Dave Roberts on Facebook Messenger, or via e-mail at dave.roberts@llanfairfechantownfc.club
