Bontnewydd – this will be my 26th season playing for the club at all age grades.
Centre Half
In Bont’s first season back in senior football in 2004-05 we had to win at home on the last day of the season and did so 4-0 to beat Caernarfon Borough to the Caernarfon and District League title on goal difference.
Winning the Safelue Shield back to back as player-manager was special.
A hat-trick away against Llanllyfni back in their Gwynedd League days was special – always a tough place to go.
Aerial ability. Used to be my speed, not so much these days!!
Temper – Has led to a few red cards over the years unfortunately.
Darren Thomas in terms of natural ability.
Callum Davidson of Menai Bridge in recent times – quick and strong.
Dylan Morgan and Hefin Williams who coached me during my teenage years.
Morgan Roberts and Mathew ‘Bach’ Roberts – both of them great lads.
Llannerchymedd – the stick from the sidelines adds to the atmosphere!!
Once represented North Wales at the triple jump.
Would like to win one more trophy with Bont before hanging up the boots.

Snickers
Nanhoron, Nefyn after The Newborough in Bont of course.

I’ve seen the talent and heart the young lads have – and I’m confident they can compete this season having had some experience of senior football under their belts last season.
I have played every position for Bont, including goalkeeper!!
