Gwynedd League: Cup success for Bulls, Tigers and Celts

Iolo Jones was on the mark twice as Trearddur Bay Bulls defeated Bethesda Athletic 3-0 to reach the quarter-finals of the Cwpan Gwynedd.

Mark Hamblin also found the target for the Anglesey side, who were two goals up at half time.

Llangoed emerged 3-1 victors at Caergybi following extra time.

Nic Kontodios put the Holyhead-based hosts ahead in the 46th minute, but Guy Hughes levelled on 55 to necessitate an added half-hour.

And Sam Gregson and Aaron Evans grabbed the vital goals which ensured the visitors progressed.

Talysarn Celts outscored Llanystumdwy 6-3, Gavin Davies (2 pens), Gerwyn Williams (2), Thomas Usher and Iolo Hughes with the home tally, Darren Parry (2) and Owain Pritchard replying.

Menai Bridge Tigers saw off Llannerchymedd 5-0, Gareth Barker (2), Callum Davidson, Mitchell Jones and Jordan Pritchard sharing the goals.

Waunfawr edged a 3-2 verdict at Bontnewydd, Shaun Roberts, Rhys Roberts and Adam Jones for the Beganifs, Jason Owen and Alun Gwilym Williams running the hosts close.

Bangor 1876 romped to a 13-1 win over Ogwen Tigers, Les Davies, Jamie Petrie and Sion Parry all nabbing hat-tricks, Dylan Summers-Jones adding a pair and Dylan Williams a single, with Kieron Bullock providing an own goal.

Kyle Hartleb struck for the visitors when they were 4-0 down.
