To win your first two matches in a new league 7-0 and 6-1 is pretty impressive stuff.

That’s what newly-named Trearddur Bay Bulls have achieved, their latest victory in the Gwynedd League coming by the latter score at Bethesda Athletic on Thursday night.

After a slow start, the Bulls went in front when Justin Williams burst through and finished well following fantastic work from winger Matty Roberts.

The visitors were looking very dangerous on the break and that is how the second goal came about on 26 minutes.

Gwynfor Owen powered past his defender and a cross-shot found Williams at the far post for his second.

Three minutes later Owen got on the act with a fabulous effort in off the post after a pinpoint cross from flying full back John Jones.

The same duo combined again before half time, Owen rifling in his second for a 4-0 interval scoreline.

Bethesda were more threatening after the break and following two close calls reduced the arrears through Luis Morella.

Bulls settled well again and wasted good chances until Tom Hadley turned his defender inside out and found the bottom corner on 75 minutes.

Williams completed his hat-trick with a fine chip finish after a cracking ball from Tom Verburg.
