Teams you have played for

Amlwch Town Ladies

Position

I don’t even know anymore, I have played a number of positions this season including; left wing, right wing, left back, right back, striker. I received the ‘Most Positions Played’ in our recent end of season awards ceremony.

Most memorable game played in

My first final against Caernarfon Town Ladies in 2016. Although we didn’t win, I thoroughly enjoyed this game and it was a great team performance.

Biggest highlight of football career so far

Being a part of the Island Games squad for Gotland in 2017.

Best goal scored

I would say my goal this season against Caernarfon Town Ladies has to be up there. I’m not one for great goals but somehow this one flew into the top corner. I don’t think anyone could believe it!

Strengths to your game

Speed and adaptability to play in many positions.

Weaknesses

I can’t do anything with my left foot, I’m also very poor at heading the ball.

Best team-mate played alongside

This is very tough as I play with so many amazing players. If I was to choose one, I would say Ffion Owen, she’s not only a great individual player but also very selfless making her a great team player.

Hardest opponent faced

Most probably Rhyl’s first team.

Biggest influence in football

Shannon (third from left – back row) with some of her lovely team mates

My team-mates.

Funniest team-mate

My mate, Cerys Gadd.

Favourite away ground

I really enjoyed playing at Bala Football Club when they were in the women’s league for a season a few years ago. The facilities were really good.

Other sporting achievements

I can’t say I have any.

Personal football ambitions

I just want to keep improving and gaining confidence. I have found this last year particularly difficult with football and just want to get back playing regularly and confidently.

Best country visited

I’ve visited so many amazing places. I can’t say I have a favourite. I would love to visit Italy or America though!

Favourite chocolate bar

Kinder

Best after-match venue

Pwllheli always provide the best food and are a great bunch of ladies.

Best film seen

I can’t say I’m a film person, I do love a good Disney film now and again though.

Current favourite song

I’m really poor with current songs, me and my boyfriend Gavin always listen to 90s or noughties music instead.

Favourite TV show

I love reality TV shows, I don’t have one in particular.

TV show you dislike most

Practical Jokers!

Best quality as a person

I like to think I’m very kind and caring.

Worst fault

I’m an over-thinker.

Best live show/concert seen

Beyoncé was AMAZING!

Do you think there are still a lot more good things to come from Amlwch Ladies? – what are the aims for this season coming?

Most definitely. With the team we have currently I can’t see why we can’t challenge the best teams in division one.

Tell us something about you we might not know

I’m really not that interesting.
