Abergele and Llysfaen
We’ve had a great season so far for Llysfaen. It says a lot about our mentality though that we believe we should have done more. We set ourselves such high standards early on in the season.
No secret whatsoever. Hard graft and high demands from manager and throughout the squad.
Bangor 1876 without a doubt. A top side that’ll fly through the divisions. Also Llandudno Amateurs Reserves have proved to be a tough side to play against.
Won bits and pieces at junior level personally but not had luck on my side at senior level. Two serious knee operations have held me back. I’ve played in a few finals but not been able to get my hands on a trophy. Hoping to put an end to that this year 😁😉
Ask me at the end of the season…..
Too many to name.
Got to name a few here. Emlyn Jones back in the day was unreal, a talented keeper and player by far one of the best around. And not just in football! Hockey, tennis a real all rounder.
Gene Foulkes, easily one of the most skilful players I’ve played with. Play with both feet and turn players inside out.
Sean Sheridan, stupid amounts of pace and power and a rocket strike on him.
Finally Jack Roper, coached him at junior level and played a handful of games with him at senior. In terms of natural ability he’s up there with the best. So much control and makes the game look easy and effortless.
3 in a game I think is my best – 20 in a season.
Bicycle kick edge of the box straight into the top corner. Trust me I’ve never hit one so sweet and never will again! (hit and hoper)
Making it to the end of the season is my only ambition right now. Play through pain every Saturday because of the injuries I’ve had but so grateful to be playing after being told I’d have to give up football.
Egypt
Nefyn 🙌🏼
I’m Alan Partridge
Jake Reynolds when he’s angry
Early days yet. Credit him for bringing these talented youngsters into the side. Maybe a mix of wanting to and having to. Seems he’ll have longer now to put his stamp on the side before we start the euros so fingers crossed for him.
Not anymore, unless we’re counting pub sports! Darts and pool 😄
Tyson Fury.
Not a massive fan of boxing but love this guy. His personality and playfulness. Refreshing watching someone in the sport that can have a giggle.
