These two sides met on the first day of the season and it was Denbigh who won 2-1 at the War Memorial Park against their promoted opponents.
Since that September 8 date, Town have played just three more league matches and Corwen only another six.
Both are in the bottom three with two victories apiece and three points.
Much will depend on the strength of team these sides can get out on Sunday in determining the outcome.
There is also the weather (as usual) to consider.
Wrexham will be out for revenge having lost 4-1 at home to Northop Hall as recently as February 16.
That result moved Hall up to fifth in the table, while the Dragons remain rock bottom with six straight defeats.
Fourth place Airbus will travel to Rhyl with confidence, having defeated Northop Hall 3-0 in the Betty Pickering Cup last weekend.
The Lilywhites have lost their last two matches, both in cups, but their league form has been decent, putting them in third place at present.
Back in September, Rhyl claimed a 3-2 league win at Airbus, so the Lilies will be going for a double over the Wingmakers.
Not much has been seen of Caernarfon lately, but it is hoped they can get a side together for the visit the only team below them, Holywell.
The Canaries picked up their only win of the campaign last October when they defeated the Wellwomen 3-2 away in midweek.
Holywell have improved steadily since then, so might fancy their chances of some revenge.
Nomads will return to a ground where they won 6-2 in a Welsh Cup tie six months ago.
Much has happened since then, the Quay having defied all the odds by reaching the Welsh Cup semi-finals, where they meet mighty Swansea City on March 15.
Llanberis, meanwhile, are much improved having risen up to third in the table, although through being a bit more clinical they could have captured quite a few more points.
Nonetheless, makings of a good contest.
Less than impressed by the late call-off of their match by home side Connah’s Quay last weekend, Rangers will hope for better away to Pwllheli.
Irfon Hughes’ side have still played just five league matches due to the weather and postponements for other reasons.
With another 11 league fixtures to complete in the remaining two months plus of the season, they will keep fingers crossed for a trouble-free run of games.
Pwllheli have been excellent all season, recording some great wins and being unlucky on a few occasions when suffering defeats.
Will this cup clash between the top teams in Division One and Division Two respectively finally go ahead?
It’s been a very frustrating time for both.
Llanfair’s only defeat this season has come in the Welsh Cup at Llandudno, while Amlwch’s sole loss was in the same competition – to Llanfair.
Potential corker if it goes ahead, so much quality on both sides.
