Caitlin Hadaway of Holywell is current top scorer outright in the North Wales Ladies Recreational Football League.

The 17-year-old made it seven goals in four matches when she netted in her team’s 2-1 Group East defeat against Llysfaen Lionesses tonight.

Caitlin, who also represents Holywell in North Wales Women’s League Division Two, recently had a trial with FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands side The New Saints, who were keen to add her to their squad, but she decided to remain loyal to the Wellwomen.

Just one behind Caitlin in the chart on six goals is Alannah Dunne of Llysfaen Lionesses and Jessica Jones of Kinmel Bay.

Maddie Williams of Llanfairfechan has netted five, while on four goals are Leah Davies-Williams and Sarah Massey of Holywell, Sophie Heap of Llysfaen and new sensation Sonia Jones of Penrhyn Bay Panthers, who has delivered a double in each of her first two matches.
