Wins for Holywell and Penrhyn Bay Panthers in North Wales Ladies Recreational League

Holywell celebrated a six-goal win over Dragonhearts

The action has kicked off in 2020 in the North Wales Ladies Recreational League with two big wins.

Holywell made it three victories out of four in Group East with a 6-0 success over Dragonhearts.

Sarah Massey pocketed a hat-trick for the Wellwomen, Cailtin Hadaway adding a double and Caitlin Latham a single.

This puts Holywell top on goal difference, but Kinmel Bay have a game in hand.

In Group West, Penrhyn Bay Panthers celebrated their first win by beating Eglwysbach Queen Bees 4-0 on January 21.

Sonia Jones scored twice and there were further goals from Alex Starr and Cat Jones.

It was a first defeat for the Bees after three previous draws.
