Gwynedd and Anglesey Leagues: Bulls back on top after nine-goal salvo, whittaker scores four for Cemaes

Gwynedd League

Trearddur Bay Bulls returned to the Gwynedd League summit with an emphatic 9-0 win at bottom side Llannerchymedd.

Gwynfor Owen, Tom Verburg and Justin Williams netted two apiece for the visitors, Dylan Williams, Mark Hamblin and George Hibbert one each.

Nefyn United were very impressive in their 4-0 thrashing of Menai Bridge Tigers, Steve Jones, Carl Jones, Llyr Williams and Tomos Jones sharing the goals.

Dylan Williams and Nick Williams hit the target for Llangoed in their 2-1 win over Waunfawr, Meurig Parry having initially put the Beganifs ahead.

Caergybi and Bro Goronwy shared a 1-1 draw.

Josh Evans netted for the home side, but Ryan Jones responded with a fine equaliser for the Moelfre men.

Anglesey League

Steve Whittaker hit four goals in Cemaes Bay’s 9-1 drubbing of Llanfairpwll in the second round of the Anglesey League Lucas Oil Cup.

Lewis Connor, Dylan Jones, Luke Mckittrick, Keenan Downey and Daniel Jones added one apiece for the hosts.

In the same competition, Cefni celebrated a 3-1 home success against Holyhead Hotspur Reserves.

Marc Parry, Lee Lewis and Kyle Williams nabbed the home goals, Mike Edwards for the visitors.

Arriva Bangor were unable to raise a team for their tie against Mountain Rangers.

Pentraeth Reserves pipped CPD Y Fali 4-2 on penalties after a 2-2 draw in the Rawson Digital Elias Cup second round.

Kenny Williams and Luke Winter struck for Pentraeth in the game itself, Luke Miles and Dan Manning replying.

Bodorgan romped to a 5-1 victory at Llandegfan in the Benllech Car Boot Trophy, Sam Hallas (2), Luke Allaway (2) and Danny Connolly sharing the goals, Anthony Croft responding.
