The prolific Corrig McGonigle struck twice to earn Conwy Borough a 2-1 win at Gresford Athletic in the Cymru North.

McGonigle scored on 33 and 61 minutes to make it 17 league goals for the season after Jake Eyre had edged the Colliers ahead on 11.

Bangor City created a bagful of chances in their game at home to bottom side Llanfair United, but needed a 63rd minute goal from Pavel Vieira to seal a narrow 1-0 victory.

Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant came away from Llangefni Town with an impressive 3-0 success.

Sam Thomas, Matthew Williams (penalty) and Matthew Evans all scored in the second half for the Powys men.

With the majority of other Cymru North sides involved in Welsh Cup action, just three league matches were played on Saturday.
