Prestatyn Town made it a perfect 10 straight wins in the Cymru North as they maintained a seven-point lead at the summit with a magnificent 7-0 thrashing of Llanfair United at the Motion Finance Stadium.

The Seasiders began the deluge in just the fifth minute when a pass from Jordan Davies to the right found Alex Jones, who fired home.

In the 14th minute Dan Roberts’ shot following a James Stead free kick was kept out by keeper Danny Foulkes, but Jack Kenny was on hand to put away his 15th goal of the campaign.

Jack Higgins’ superb header made it 3-0 at the break and only the heroics of Foulkes kept the score down.

Into the second half and on 51 minutes Jordan Davies’ effort was blocked on the line, but Stead was there to slot home for number four.

Even a red card for Kenny on 55 minutes did not affect Town’s rhythm as they went on to grab three more goals.

Both teams were down to 10 men when Gethin Jones was sent off for the visitors after 73 minutes.

Stead nutmegged the keeper for 5-0 and then finished off a Davies assist to complete his hat-trick.

There was still time for Jordan Davies to win a penalty which he converted himself in the absence of regular taker Robbie Hughes.

Rest of the Cymru North

Second-place Flint Town United overcame Corwen 3-1 thanks to goals from Richie Foulkes (pen), Nathan Brown and Tony Davies, Joe Williams replying from the spot.

Sam Molyneux’s early strike was enough to bag Rhyl a 1-0 verdict at Porthmadog, while a 90th minute leveller from Piero Cauterucci salvaged Bangor City a 1-1 home draw with Gresford Athletic, who led through Jake Eyre’s 41st minute spot-kick.

Llandudno saw off Penrhyncoch 4-0 with all their goals coming in the second half, Danny Hughes, Anthony Marshall, Alfons Fosu-Mensah and Dean Seager finding the net.

Jake Cook’s 57th minute net-buster secured Guilsfield a 1-0 decision at Llangefni Town, while it ended 2-2 between Llanrhaeadr YM and Ruthin Town.

Geraint Evans and Iwan Matthews (pen) supplied the home goals, Garmon Hafal and Llyr Morris (pen) responding, the latter plundering an 89th minute equaliser.
