Amazing times: Danielle lifts the Welsh Cup with her Caernarfon team-mates in 2014

The 2014 FAW Under-16 Girls Welsh Cup Final in Newtown (Caernarfon beat Llanyrafon 2-0 with goals from Lois Regan and Nel Huws). I had a stinker of a game and even came off with cramp towards the end but the girls were amazing.

Katie Davies (formerly known as Williams – ex-Liverpool and Wales, capped 20 times).

Biggest influence in football

My dad is probably the reason I’m so into my football. He took me to every game and training possible when I was younger and still enjoys coming to see me play when he can.

Funniest team-mate

Danielle (No10) enjoys Katie Bowe’s humour so much she hugs her at every opportunity! Picture: Ian Francis

Katie Bowe or Lisa Thomas. Katie comes out with some one-liners but I’ve known Lisa for years and we bounce off each other.

Which team-mate is the best dancer

I’ve not seen what Mountain Rangers have to offer yet but I would have to say Elena Julio based on what I saw playing alongside her with Caernarfon!

Favourite away ground

I suppose I can say The Oval. Although I’m yet to play there as a visitor.

Personal football ambitions

Danielle (sixth from left – back row, next to manager Irfon Hughes) with her new Mountain Rangers team-mates

I just want to continue to enjoy playing the game, and help Mountain Rangers go on to win some silverware.
