The start of the 2019-20 North Wales football season is just over a fortnight away.

At present, 189 teams will go to post across eight leagues covering North Wales.

Wednesday, July 24, saw new names announced for the top two tiers in Welsh football.

The Welsh Premier League becomes the JD Cymru Premier, while the Huws Gray Alliance is now known as JD Cymru North.

Since our previous list, Llannerchymedd have dropped from the Welsh Alliance into the Gwynedd League, FC Nomads have withdrawn from the Welsh National League, Bangor City have entered a team in the Welsh Alliance Reserves Division, which Prestatyn Sports have left, Machno United have moved down to Division One from the Premier Division of the Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League, while Yale Park will not participate in the North East Wales League.

Grassroots North Wales will do a final membership check on the eve of the new campaign, along with a few predictions and other associated stories.
