Harrison Bellis of CPD Y Glannau is the 2023-24 North Wales Senior Football Goal King!

The net-finder supreme made it 130 goals in two seasons for the North Wales Coast East Division One side with a magnificent 68 in 2023-24.

Last season’s positions are reversed. In 2022-23, Asa Thomas of Trearddur Bay was top on 75, with Bellis second with 62.

In 2023-24, Thomas finished second on 60, with Bellis No1 with 68.

1 Harrison Bellis (CPD Y Glannau) – 68 goals
(47 league, 21 cups – 29 appearances)

Last season’s runner-up with 62 goals is top of the chart in 2023-24 with a magnificent 68.
Netted a seven-goal haul, plus three fives and four fours during the campaign.
He was top scorer in North Wales Coast East Division One with 47 goals, bettering his 43 in 2022-23.
Unsure what happens with his 5 goals for Y Glannau in their 8-1 win over Bow in the NWCFA Junior Cup semi-final, what with all the complications that match brought, but even if they were expunged he would still be top in North Wales senior football.

2 Asa Thomas (Trearddur Bay) – 60 goals
(45 league, 15 cups – 38 appearances)

Another remarkable season for North Wales’ most prolific goal machine of all time.
Having topped the North Wales standings last term with 75 goals, at a higher tier in 2023-24 he still managed a fantastic 60 in 38 appearances.
Scored 45 times in the Tier 4 North Wales Coast West Premier Division, which Trearddur Bay won in a canter.
Became the first known player in North Wales football ever to pass 700 goals during the season.

3 Sam Giles (Acton) – 54 goals
(43 league, 11 cups – 29 appearances)

Magical season for the North East Wales League Championship Division hitman.
Notched eight hat-tricks, including two sixes, a five and a four.
In just 20 league matches he banged in 43 goals and gained deserved silverware for his efforts when Acton won the Two Counties Cup.
Second highest marksman in the Championship.

4 Harry Massey (Overton Recreational) – 52 goals
(44 league, 8 cups – 27 appearances)

Finished the season absolutely on fire with 17 goals in his last six matches.
Chalked up 10 hat-tricks over the campaign and finished top scorer in the North East Wales League Championship on 44 goals.

5 Jamie McDaid (Llanrug United) – 54 goals
(47 league, 7 cups – 29 appearances)

Top scorer in the Tier 4 North Wales Coast West Premier Division with 47 goals – even finishing above Asa Thomas!
Ended the league campaign in style with four goals in a 6-0 victory at Amlwch Town.
Eight hat-tricks recorded over the season, including one double-treble.
Everyone will know Jamie for his achievements at a much higher level, having represented the likes of Caernarfon Town, Porthmadog and Holywell Town in the past, as well as Bangor City in the Welsh Premier League and in Europe, but in 2023-24, he became a Llanrug legend.

6 Meilir Williams (Llanuwchllyn) – 45 goals
(28 league, 17 cups – 39 appearances)

Second-highest scorer in the Tier 3 Ardal North East League with 28 goals.
The 27-year-old was also successful in knockout competitions, scoring nine in the Welsh Cup and five in the FAW Amateur Trophy.
Reached the Ardal Northern Promotion Play-Off Final with Llanuwchllyn only to lose out on penalties to Llay Welfare.
To score so many goals at such a good level says everything about this former Porthmadog, Conwy Borough, Blaenau Amateurs and Penrhyndeudraeth star.

7 Callum Graves (Menai Bridge Tigers) – 40 goals
(30 league, 10 cups – 32 appearances)

Phenomenal season for this attacking livewire was capped by his team Menai Bridge Tigers winning promotion to Tier 3 for the first time in their history.
Callum scored in each of his last nine matches, blasting in 17 goals to reach 40 in total.
He scored five hat-tricks in all for Tigers, providing 18 assists and took most man of the match accolades.
Swept the board at Menai’s end of season awards, winning Player of the Season, Players’ Player, Supporters’ Player and Top Goalscorer.

7 Kaine Bentley (Gwalchmai) – 40 goals
(30 league, 10 cups – 32 appearances)

Rounded off an amazing season by scoring a stunner in Gwalchmai’s 3-1 NWCFA Intermediate Cup Final victory over Penrhyndeudraeth.
This 20-year-old dynamo enjoyed a magnificent first campaign with Gwalch in Tier 4, having hit 30 league goals.
Banged in six hat-tricks, including two fours. Was joint-second in the Bob Brodie Trophy awarded to the top marksman in Anglesey senior football.

9 Owen Cordiner (Corwen) – 39 goals
(27 league, 12 cup – 31 appearances)

Top scorer in the North East Wales League Premier Division for a Corwen side which won the title comfortably.
Cordiner knocked in six hat-tricks during the 2023-24 campaign and offered 11 assists as well as his 27 league goals.

10 Kallum Pierce (CPD Gronant) – 38 goals
(32 league, 6 cups – 31 appearances)

A marvellous first season in front of goal for a player who joined North East Wales League Championship runners-up Gronant at the start of the campaign.
Notched 38 goals for Aston Park Rangers last season, and equalled that figure with his new club.
Scored 32 league goals and provided 21 assists. Ended third in the North East Wales League Championship scorers chart.
Kallum pocketed five hat-tricks in 2023-24, including a six and a five, also helping his team win promotion to the North East Wales League Premier Division.
