Bangor City 1876 and Flint Town United players among the weekend elite

Holly Owen Roberts celebrates a goal for Bangor City 1876

Two unsung heroes who are making a major impact this season feature in the latest Genero Adran Leagues Team of the Week.

Flint Town United’s Kelsey Davies and Holly Owen Roberts of Bangor City 1876 Women are both in this week’s elite XI after producing fantastic performances at the weekend.

Kelsey Davies

Kelsey, 29, netted her first hat-trick in a Flint shirt to make it eight goals in five games since joining the Silkwomen from Llandudno.

She has scored in every game played for the Essity Stadium side to date, continuing her amazing form of recent seasons in front of goal.

Holly, just 17, scored twice for Bangor in their 5-2 beating of Berriew, also providing an assist in a brilliant all-round display.

The attacking midfielder has now scored six times in 27 appearances for the Citizens since joining the club at the start of last season.

Holly previously represented Cascade YC in the Genero Adran U19s South League, as well as the FAW Girls Academy South U14 and U17 sides. She has also played for Wales at Under-15 and U16 levels.

Also in the Adran Leagues Team of the Week are Wrexham AFC Women’s double-winning captain and defender Jodie Bartle, plus Connah’s Quay Nomads striker Rosie Hughes, who netted both goals in a 2-1 win at Llanfair United.
