Llangefni Town Ladies have signed a winger many of their players will be familiar with from international duty.
Pippa Wallis from the Isle of Man national side is moving to the region and has signed for the North Wales Coast Women’s League champions.
Cefni manager Dan Gregg has come across Wallis in his role as manager of the Ynys Môn team which competes in the International Island Game and includes a number of Town players.
“She’s scored a few against Ynys Môn,” said Gregg. “She is a rapid winger and was a silver medalist at the last games.”
Wallis made history at the 2025 Orkney Island Games by becoming the youngest player representing Isle of Man to score at the tournament in a 6-0 win against Freya.
She also netted in the semi-final penalty shoot out victory over Western Isles which earned the Manxwomen a meeting with Bermuda in the gold medal match.
Wallis continues to feature prominently for the Isle of Man, including in friendly matches against Ynys Môn and Preston North End.
The player’s football journey began on the IoM, where she quickly established herself as a standout performer within the academy and her local grassroots club.
Her commitment and natural talent caught the eye of higher-level clubs across the UK, leading her to train with Chester and even receive an invitation to train with the Liverpool Under-16 team.
