Bangor City 1876 Women have signed an exciting 16-year-old attacking midfielder.
Lauren Jones will be in the squad for Sunday’s Genero Adran Trophy group clash at Llanfair United.
The youngster moves from Connah’s Quay Nomads, having represented their under-19 side three times this season.
Last term, she was a regular in the Llandudno Under-17 side, scoring 10 goals.
She previously played for Llandudno U15 and U16s, as well as Penrhyn Bay U15 Girls.
Lauren also has a history with CPDM Bangor, playing for the U12 and U15 teams.
In 2022-23, she netted 11 goals in eight matches for Bangor U15 before adding three more in the second phase of the season.
She is currently undertaking a scholarship at Everton FC.
Lauren is the latest in a group of promising young players to have made the full Bangor City 1876 women’s squad.
Under the interim management of Chris O’Neal, the blues have won all four matches played so far in 2026-27.
