Bangor City 1876 is expected to announce the name of its new manager on Monday.
The club confirmed today it has received 35 applications for the role made vacant by the resignation of Michael Johnston last month.
Johnston’s assistant, Sean Eardley, took charge for the next three games but he also left the club last week.
The club’s current top scorer this season, Declan McManus, has become the Citizens’ temporary player-manager and will be in charge for Saturday’s Welsh Cup tie against Mold Alexandra.
Bangor City 1876 chairman Nick Pritchard has hinted the new manager will have more of a full-time role than predecessors, taking responsibility for off-field matters such as player recruitment, as well as running the team on match-days.
