Vale of Clwyd rivals Denbigh Town and Ruthin Town share the leadership of FAW Reserve League North – and they meet tonight (Friday) at Central Park (7.30 pm).

Llanrwst United 2-6 Denbigh Town

Denbigh roared into top spot with a 6-2 away beating of Llanrwst.
Rhys Lloyd and Jacob Duffy both struck twice for the visitors, Seann McFee and Lloyd Robinson also on target, while Riley Thomas and Dylan Roberts responded for the Rwsters.

Mynydd Isa 3-3 Colwyn Bay

Two goals in the closing minutes from super sub Ewan Grice earned a draw for a Mynydd Isa side who trailed 3-0 at one stage.
Captain Toby Jones and Joshua Jones (2, 1 pen) put the Seagulls in command by the 56-minute mark, yet Isa were far from finished, Harry Lambert pulling one back on 73 before second half replacement Grice netted on 88 and 90+2 to salvage a point.

Penmaenmawr Phoenix 2-3 Holywell Town

Charlie Roberts delivered a 90th minute winner for Holywell’s Development squad.
Oliver Evans’ 28th minute strike for Phoenix was all that separated the sides at the break, then Charlie McIlvogue made it 2-0 on 60, but back came the Wellmen through Jacob Byron and sub Osian Edwards before Roberts applied the coup de grace.

September 11

Bangor City 1876 1-4 Llandudno

After a goalless first half, Bangor took a 52nd minute lead through Josh Roberts, but Llandudno turned the tables, Cody Ruberto, Jayden Lloyd and a double from sub Casey Berry clinching an away win.

Buckley Town 3-1 Bala Town

Bobby Urquhart, Adam Roberts and captain Evan Lowry supplied the goals which banked three points for Bucks, Calum Roberts replying from the spot for Bala.

Ruthin Town 3-2 NFA U21

Goals from Ciaran Roberts, Jacob Lloyd and sub Seth Evans won the day for Ruthin, Michael Wrezsinski with both for Rhyl side NFA.
