Six quick transfers to share on the North Wales scene

Seydou Bamba (to Kinmel Bay)

After a spell at Bala Town last season, Ivorian Bamba arrives at Kinmel Bay with a highly impressive football CV.
The 32-year-old forward has also played for North Wales clubs Corwen, Mold Alexandra, Llandudno and Llanrwst United since 2023-24.
Bamba’s skills were developed within two of Italian football’s most recognised academies, Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio and ACF Fiorentina.
He represented Ivory Coast at U17, U20 and U21 international level and has played football across nine different countries in Europe, gaining experience of different styles, cultures and levels of the game.
During his career, Seydou has shared the pitch with some outstanding players, including James Rodríguez, Lucas Digne and Fabio Borini.

Freddie Naylor (Llandudno Junction to Bethesda Athletic)

Seventeen-year-old prospect joins Tier 3 club Bethesda from fourth-tier Junction.
Formerly with the Wrexham AFC and Connah’s Quay Nomads academies, Naylor moved to Colwyn Bay last season and scored in his first three games for the under-21s.
Signed for Junction this term and netted three times in two matches before stepping up to the first team.

Sion Kelly (Pwllheli to Bethesda Athletic)

This 21-year-old spent a number of seasons with Bontnewydd before signing for Pwllheli last December.
After a short stay at The Rec, he rejoined Bontnewydd in April 2026 and netted six club goals in the closing weeks of the campaign.
Made 119 club appearances for Bont in total, scoring 20 goals, before making the move to Parc Meurig.
A Bethesda Athletic statement said: “A strong, composed, and commanding centre-half, Sion brings physicality, leadership, and confidence on the ball to our back line.”

Ashley Ainsworth (CPD Pwllheli to Trearddur Bay)

Striker with an impressive goal scoring record for previous clubs Pwllheli and Llangefni Town makes the switch to ambitious Tier 3 outfit Trearddur Bay.
Ainsworth, 33, joined Pwllheli at the start of 2023-24 and netted a fantastic 15 goals in his first 13 appearances.
Scored 39 goals in 68 matches for Pwll before signing for Llangefni in January 2026, finding the net on debut in a 2-2 draw with Llay Welfare.
Notched nine goals in 14 outings for Cefni before rejoining Pwllheli at the start of the current campaign, scoring in a 7-0 Welsh Cup victory at Carno on July 25.
However, after just one game for the Llŷn Peninsula side, Ashworth decided to give Trearddur Bay a try.

Tom Gardner (to Aston Park Rangers)

Gardner signs for Aston Park Rangers from Tysoe United in Oxfordshire.
The out and out striker has a proven goalscoring record in the English FA and following his international clearance made his debut as a second-half substitute in Wednesday’s 3-2 North East Wales League Division 1 victory against Greenfield.

Tom Beacher (Broughton United to Aston Park Rangers)

Local Aston boy Tom Beacher recently returned to his boyhood club following two seasons with Broughton United gaining vital tier 4 experience.
Made almost 50 first team appearances for a Broughton outfit he helped earn promotion to Tier 3 Ardal North West this term.
Played in a similar number of games in his previous spell at APR.
Beacher says “Buzzing to be back with the boys. Looking forward to getting going again and having a big season with a good group of lads.”
