CPD Y Felinheli launch fundraising appeal for essential upgrade to dressing rooms at Cae Seilo

CPD Y Felinheli need help to bring their dressing rooms up to modern-day standard.

The club, whose men compete in Tier 3 Ardal North West and women in Tier 2 Adran North, has launched a fundraising appeal to support the project.

Who are we?

We are a community sports club based at Cae Seilo, providing football and sporting opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.
Our club is run by volunteers and is proud to be at the heart of the local community, promoting participation, teamwork and wellbeing through sport.
Cae Seilo isn’t just a playing venue — it’s a place where players, officials, coaches and visitors come together week in, week out.

Why are we crowdfunding?

Our current changing facilities at Cae Seilo no longer meet the needs of modern sport.
We are crowdfunding to improve the home and away changing rooms, including better showers, toilets, individual player seating and the installation of audio-visual resources. We also aim to create two dedicated officials’ changing rooms and a fully equipped medical room,.
These upgrades are essential to:
Improve player welfare and dignity
Support match officials properly
Meet modern standards and league expectations
Ensure the facility is inclusive, safe and fit for the future

The project aligns with funding criteria by improving community sporting infrastructure and increasing access to quality facilities for all users.

How we’ll spend the money raised

We believe in being open and transparent. Every pound raised will go directly into improving Cae Seilo.
The funding will be used for:
Refurbishment of home and away changing rooms
New showers, toilets and modern fittings
Individual player seating and storage
Audio-visual equipment for team talks and analysis
Creation of two officials’ changing rooms
Development of a dedicated medical and treatment room
Any additional funds raised will help enhance accessibility, safety and long-term sustainability of the facilities.

Community impact

This project will benefit far more than just matchday players.
Improved facilities at Cae Seilo will:
Support grassroots sport for children, young people and adults
Encourage greater participation and retention in sport
Provide a better experience for visiting teams and officials
Improve health, wellbeing and community pride
Ensure the venue can be used safely by a wider range of groups
A stronger Cae Seilo means a stronger community.
