CPDM Y Felinheli – Best All-Time XI

Catrin Beech

Fantastic goalkeeper who made her senior debut for Y Felinheli as a 16-year-old in February 2022 and soon became a regular first choice..
She made 82 appearances for the senior XI, with whom she won the NEWFA Women’s Challenge Cup last season, plus the NWCFA Challenge Cup in 2022-23 and 2023-24.
One of her biggest accolades was being named Adran North Golden Glove winner for 2023-24.
Catrin joined Tranmere Rovers last season.

Beca Williams


Brilliant defender who last represented Felinheli in 2023-24.
Started out with Penrhyndeudraeth Under-10s and later represented North Wales as well as being on standby for the Cymru U16 squad.
Stroma and physical player with tremendous passing ability.

Kelly Jones

A truly inspirational leader. rock solid at the back, great in the air and on the deck.
Has made 92 appearances for Felinheli since the 2019-20 season.
Captained the team to success in the NWCFA Challenge Cup (twice) and the NEWFA Challenge Cup.

Anest Hâf Roberts

A defender who is always a danger in the opposition box at set-pieces.
Last represented Felinheli in the 2023-24 season but will long be remembered for her ice-cool defending going right back to when the club played under the name Bethel.
As a youngster, she won the Welsh Schools FA Under-15 Cup final in 2016-17 with Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen, Caernarfon. Also won the North Wales Under-14 Girls League title with Bethel in 2015/16.
Was in the Bethel side which landed the 2017-18 North Wales Girls League Under-16 Cup, and when the villagers finished joint winners of the North Wales Women’s League in 2018-19, Anest was a key player in her first season with the senior team.

Shannon Jade Jones

Dynamic left-sided specialist who has made 70 appearances and scored 10 goals for Felinheli dating back to the start of 2021-22.
Loyal and committed player with tremendous speed. Previous clubs include Bangor City, while she also achieved great success with the Bangor University women’s side.

Katie Midwinter

Attacking midfielder with awesome passing and shooting ability and a gift for producing the unexpected.
Another who made a name for herself with Bethel before the club changed its name to Felinheli.
Katie had a standout 2018-19 season when she captained hometown club Bethesda to the North Wales League Division Two title. She also finished up North Wales women’s football leading scorer that season.
Has netted 29 times in 53 appearances for Felinheli since the 2021-22 season.

Jenna Tugwell-Allsup

Midfield powerhouse whose goals ratio has shot up in recent seasons.
Returned to football in 2014 after a spell out through injury and becoming a mum.
Since then she has played for Caernarfon Town, Bangor City, Bethesda Athletic CPDM Bangor and Bethel/Felinheli.
Won the Betty Pickering Cup and North Wales League with Caernarfon in 2015-16 and 2016-17 respectively, then became a league champion again with Bethesda in 2018-19.
Signed for CPDM Bangor in 2022-23 and was part of the invincibles crowned North Wales League champions, scoring 11 goals in the process,
Has been back with Felinheli since 2023-24, scoring 26 goals in 63 appearances.

Mari Gibbard

Gifted attacking mid who recently retired from football after clocking up more than 50 appearances for Adran Premier champions Wrexham.
Scored 16 goals for Felinheli in the 2021-22 campaign before moving on to Adran North champions Llandudno, then joined Wrexham in February 2023.
Captained Ysgol Brynrefail to the Welsh Schools Cup in her school days and first shone as a senior for Bethel.

Jordanne Greenough

All-action player, aged 32, who can be effective in just about any position.
Played for Llandudno in their 2021-22 title-winning season before switching to Felinheli, where she has stayed ever since.
Scored on Felin debut in an 8-4 victory over Llanfair United in November 2021. Has played 94 times for Felinheli’s first team, notching 25 goals.

Catrin Evans

Amazing talent who can score the most sublime of goals with her deadly left foot.
Stormed onto the senior football scene in 2018-19 with 18 goals in 12 appearances for Bethel.
Represented Ynys Mon in the 2019 Inter-Games and won a silver medal, scoring in the final.
Later moved to Amlwch Town, then played in the English pyramid due to her studies base before returning to Felinheli in 2023-24.
Total Felin stats (including Bethel): Played 46 Goals 44.

Ffion Wyn Williams

Pacy, skilful and a lethal finisher. One of the best to play in North Wales without a shadow of a doubt.
Between 2021-22 and 2023-24 Ffion piled up 45 goals in 36 appearances for Felin, but has not played since the latter season.
In 2021-22, she scored five goals in a game on four occasions. One of many players connected with Felin who hails from Anglesey. Unstoppable on her day.
