Ardal Northern awards: It’s a big night for Meilir and Osian

Well done to two goal kings who have also won their league player of the season awards.

Meilir Williams of Ardal North East title winners Llanuwchllyn was named his league’s top player for 2025-26 after heading the scoring chart with 47 goals (53 in all competitions making him No1 marksman in the whole of North Wales senior soccer).

And Osian Hughes of Bethesda Athletic was the choice as Ardal North West Player of the Season after his 33 league goals made him leading scorer in the Tier 3 league.

The 24-year-old, who knocked in 38 goals in all comps, this week signed for fellow ANW club Trearddur Bay.

Congratulations to all award winners at this year’s Lock Stock Ardal Northern Leagues AGM.

CPD Dinas Bangor  City 1876, CPD Llanuwchllyn and CPD Porthmadog were all given awards for their league wins and promotion, whilst the runners up were also presented with their prize money, including Knighton Town.

There was also the fair play award honoured to Llandrindod Wells and Porthmadog.

Ardal Northern marketing officer Ollie Beech was on hand to present the awards.
