All-time ladies club record goalscorer Rosie Hughes is among the names released by Wrexham AFC Women ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Also departing the Adran Premier champions are: Erin Lovett, Abbie Iddenden, Carra Jones, Hannah Snape, Leah Burke and Neve Adams.
Already under contract for the coming season are: Katie Barker, Jodie Bartle, Maria Francis-Jones and Lili Mai Jones.
Those offered new deals are: Faye Knox, Liz Craven,, Phoebe Davies, Olivia Fuller, Sarah Harvey, Natalie Clark, Mariam Mahmood, Evie Sadler, Josie Smith and Ava Suckley.
Club’s all-time highest woman goalscorer with 136 goals in 115 appearances.
Centre forward who signed for Wrexham in August 2021 after previously serving North Wales teams Kinmel Bay, Denbigh Town and Llandudno.
Was an unstoppable Tier 2 markswoman in 2021-22 and 2022-23, netting 48 and 42 goals respectively in all competitions.
Notched 36 and 24 in the league across those seasons to make her the current highest goal-getter in Adran North history on 60 goals.
In her first Adran Premier season, she was first phase top-scorer with 13 goals and netted 15 in 18 league outings overall in 2023-24
Was less of a prominent figure in 2024-25, as Abbie Iddenden and Ava Suckley took on the first-choice striker roles.
Returned to some of her best goal-getting form last season, netting nine times in 12 phase one fixtures as Wrexham went on to win the Adran Premier and Adran Trophy for the first time in their history.
Hughes, 30, will leave upon the expiry of her contract this summer. She will be remembered as a prolific scorer and becoming the first player to reach 100 appearances for the club.
Defender who joined Wrexham in July 2021 and has gone on to make 96 appearances.
Was a regular during the club’s rise from the Adran North to the Adran Premier, but appeared less regularly over three seasons in the Adran Premier.
Joined in summer 2023, making 75 appearances for Wrexham and netting 18 first team goals. An attacking player whose versatility always offered plenty of options for the team.
Really made her mark for Wrexham during 2024-25, becoming first-choice striker and forming a dynamic attacking partnership with Ava Suckley.
A former Stoke City forward, Iddenden signed for the Red Dragons in August 2024. She made 35 competitive appearances, notching 20 goals, but featured less often in the title-winning season.
Named Player of the Season for the 2024/25 campaign.
Midfielder with a great delivery from set-pieces joined Wrexham from Loughborough Lightning and went on to make 21 appearances in her only season for the North Wales club, scoring three goals.
Came through the Club’s academy and went on to make 11 appearances for the senior team.
Moves on having made eight appearances and scored her only goal for Wrexham this season away against The New Saints in phase one in the Adran Premier.
