Despite being pegged back to a single goal ahead after leading 3-0, Mochdre claimed a deserved place in the Cookson Cup final.
The hosts edged in front in the 18th minute through a Nidian Jones own goal, before quickly building momentum with two well-taken finishes from Josh Grimshaw and Kai Davies after 26 and 36 respectively.
Cerrig pulled one back from a set piece just before half-time through Alun Vaughan Evans.
The second half brought plenty of chances, and Mochdre managed the game well to carry their 3-1 lead deep into stoppage time.
Cerrig added a late goal through Vaughan Evans, but it was not enough to mount a successful comeback.
Conwy Borough Swifts or Kinmel Bay await Sports in the final.

Charlie Jones grabbed the all-important goal which went a long way to helping ensure Kinmel Bay finish at least in the top two of the Premier this season.
For the second match running, Jones notched a crucial net-finder for his team, on this occasion his 36th minute effort from a Connor Morris assist banking three points.
Long-time division leaders Llansannan now drop to third and can finish no higher having completed their league fixtures.
Sannan had Andrew Thomas red-carded in the 77th minute.
CPD Bro Cernyw 0 CPD Y Glannau 2
Maximum points for Y Glannau, with Gregory Parry breaking the deadlock in first half injury time before top-scorer Harrison Bellis’ 28th goal of the season in the 75th minute secured the victory.
It was Bellis’ 200th career goal, 171 of which have been netted for Y Glannau.
Llandudno Junction 1 Conwy Borough Swifts 2
Swifts made it four wins in five matches after recovering from falling a goal behind to take the honours at The Flyover.
Captain Dave Maddock’s 10th goal of the season gave Junction a 16th minute lead they held until 65 was on the clock when Jake Carey equalised.
Four minutes later, James Lansdowne bagged the decider for the visitors.

CPD Blue Bridge 0 Penrhyn Bay 2
Scott Court and Gabriel George pocketed the first half goals which guaranteed three points for second-place Penrhyn Bay.
Crozzy 1 Prestatyn Sports 4
An 11th win in a row for Prestatyn Sports kept them three points clear at the summit although Penrhyn Bay in second have two games in hand.
Aidan Bell, Dylan Taylor, Alfie Griffiths and leading hitman Mike Jones’ 28th goal of 2025-26 made up the away team tally, Danny Talbot replying for Crozzy.
CPD Henllan 3 Rhuddlan Town 1
Harry Payne, Elgan Hughes and Steffan Jones delivered the goals which earned Henllan victory, Shay Hammans with Rhuddlan’s response.
Jones also missed a penalty for the hosts, while Town had Reece Chamberlain red-carded.
Llysfaen 2 Llandyrnog United 3
Llandyrnog stayed in the title race with a narrow win at the Bananabeu, Luke Appleby, Danny Calvert and Nathan Rose grabbing the away goals.
Alfie Harrison also missed a spot-kick for the visitors.
Mike Chapman netted both for Llysfaen to make it 18 goals in seven games for the master marksman, but the hosts had Josh Williams sent off after 69 for a second yellow.
