Trearddur Bay re-sign three former players

Trearddur Bay have welcomed back three familiar faces – defender Jake Davies, goalkeeper Dan Williams and striker Kaine Bentley.

The Ynys Môn club hope the trio can help instigate a late rise up the Ardal North West table and secure further progress in the Ardal North League Cup.

In a statement, Trearddur Bay FC said: “All three players have previously worn the Bay shirt with pride, bringing commitment, quality, and a real understanding of what it means to represent the club. Their experience within the squad and connection to the team makes them fantastic additions for our run in at the end of the season.”

KAINE BENTLEY

Proven goalscorer with a number of clubs.

This 22-year-old first emerged at Holyhead Town in 2021-22,scoring 17 goals in 28 outings for the North Wales Coast West Division One club.

After netting once in four appearances for the Harbourmen at the start of 2022-23, Bentley switched to Trearddur Bay, pocketing a hat-trick on debut – against Holyhead Town.

Played in 29 matches for Bay and nabbed 17 goals before relocating to Gwalchmai at the beginning of 2023-24.

Had an amazing season with Gwalch, knocking in 40 goals in 33 matches and winning the NWCFA Intermediate Challenge Cup, scoring in the final.

It was back to Trearddur Bay in 2024-25, netting five times in 13 games prior to rejoining Gwalchmai in November 2024, He failed to score in a Gwalch shirt in eight appearances through to the end of the season.

The start of 2025-26 brought a fresh start at Menai Bridge Tigers, scoring eight goals in 20 matches before opting for a third spell at Trearddur Bay.

Bentley has made 135 senior appearances in his career to date, firing 88 goals.

JAKE DAVIES

Nineteen-year-old talent who emerged through Trearddur Bay’s junior system before making his first team debut in 2022-23.

Made 31 first team appearances and turned out on 45 occasions, scoring seven goals, for the Development side at Trearddur before joining Cemaes Bay in October 2025.

Played 10 times for Cemaes in Tier 4 before deciding to return to the Beach Boys.

DAN WILLIAMS

Former Bangor 1876 and Caergybi player who signed for Trearddur Bay in 2022-23.

Made six first team outings for the Beach Boys and was involved in 10 Development side games, but had not featured since the end of 2024.
