Magic Maddie hits the half century in Adran North!

Maddie Williams of Llandudno reached a special landmark on March 22, 2026

Llandudno’s Maddie Williams became just the third Adran North player to reach 50 goals on Sunday afternoon.

Williams netted twice in her team’s 2-1 win over CPDM Bangor at Go Goodwins Stadium.

The 30-year-old joined Llandudno at the start of 2021-22 and hit the 50-goal mark in her 64th league appearance for the Seasiders.

In all competitions, the Llanfairfechan-based forward has played in 110 games for Tudno and found the net 81 times.

Her best season was 2021-22, when she bagged 22 goals in 14 league matches as Llandudno were crowned inaugural champions of the Tier 2 Genero Adran North. Williams pocketed 32 goals in 23 outings across all competitions.

The 2022-23 campaign saw her score eight league goals in 12 starts and net on 16 occasions in 21 games in total.

In 2023-24, she notched 12 league goals in 14 matches as Llandudno lifted the Adran North title again. Her total in all games was 14 goals from 23 appearances.

Last season saw Williams hit six goals in 13 Adran North fixtures, and 12 in 24 across league and cups.

She began the current campaign on 48 league goals and made it to the half-century with her first two of the 2925-26 season in the Adran North against Bangor on March 22. Maddie has scored seven so far in all comps this term.

Only two players are ahead of Williams in the all-time Adran North list – Wrexham’s Rosie Hughes on 60 goals and Ella Jones of Connah’s Quay Nomads with 51.
