What an honour for Denbigh Town Football Club!

The Cymru North club’s Central Park ground has been chosen to host the 2026 FAW Youth Cup Final between The New Saints and Caernarfon Town.

The final will take place on Sunday 5 April, with kick-off at 14:00.

The New Saints got the better of Cardiff Met with an impressive 3-1 victory to book their spot in the final, with Caernarfon following suit with a 3-1 win over Barry Town to secure back-to-back Youth Cup finals for the Cofis.

There will be no advance ticket sales for the final, with entry to Central Park on the day costing £2 for adults. Concessions go free.

Central Park has undergone massive upgrades in recent times, leading to it staging major domestic finals, national games and international occasions.

Two years ago it was announced Denbigh Town has been selected as a host stadium for the U19 UEFA European Championships taking place in 2026.

Wales will host the competition as part of the FAW’s 150th anniversary celebrations with five venues chosen in North Wales to stage games.

Central Park has continued its growth as one of the premier footballing venues in Wales and this year will continue its association with hosting international football with its biggest tournament to date.

The UEFA U19 Championship takes place between June and July each year with eight teams competing, seven teams that have progressed through two qualifying rounds, as well as the host nation.
