Three Wrexham Foresters called up for UEFA Women’s Futsal Euro qualifiers

Three Wrexham Foresters players have been selected to represent England in the 2026/27 UEFA Women’s Futsal EURO Qualifiers.

Kirstie Kural, Laura Tobin and Rebecca Foster, all outstanding for Central Wales North Ladies Football League club Foresters this season, will be in the squads for qualifying round matches from March 18-21, with England competing in Group B against:Bosnia & Herzegovina, Finland and Serbia.

Fixtures will be played across the international window, with England facing each opponent once as they look to secure progression in the qualifying campaign.

Kural and Tobin are England regulars, but for Foster it is a first-time senior call up.

Wrexham Foresters said in a statement: “This is a proud moment for the club and a reflection of the standards being set within our women’s and girl’s programme.”

Kural, 36, has netted an amazing 51 goals in 13 appearances this campaign for the Foresters, who top their league with a 100% record.

However, she also excels at Futsal, having played at a very high level for club and country. She is also a former Connah’s Quay Nomads and Northop Hall attacking midfielder, where she was a prolific goalscorer and trophy winner.

She took up Futsal about 10 years ago and has played for Wrexham and Salford City Lionesses among others, as well as representing England.

Tobin, 31, has scored eight goals in five games for the Foresters this term, including a stunning hat-trick in a 5-0 Bute Energy Welsh Cup victory at Flint Town United of the Tier 2 Genero Adran North League.

Foster, 31, also featured in that cup win at Flint, where she was one of the most outstanding performers on the park.

The Foresters trio all represent Bolton Futsal, who compete in top level FA National Futsal Service WSS Tier 1, where they finished second last season and occupy the same position this term.
