NORTH WALES COAST WEST LEAGUE – FEBRUARY 14

PREMIER DIVISION

CPD Penrhyndeudraeth 4 CPD Mynydd Llandegai 3

Two goals a couple of minutes apart in the second half ensured Penrhyndeudraeth came from behind to edge a seven-goal cracker against visitors Llandegai on Saturday.

Iwan Lane nudged Penrhyn in front in the very first minute from a Cai Henshaw assist, Gethin Davies levelled on 14, but Deegan John restored the home lead after 34.

Early in the second half, Llandegai turned the tables, Davies scoring his second with Leon Buckland the supplier for a second time, then Kelvin Frazer made it 3-2.

However, Alun Hughes equalised on 62 and Cedri Jones delivered what turned out to be the decider with 64 on the clock.

Talysarn Celts 4 Cemaes Bay 2

Glyn Hughes-Thomas struck a second half double which sealed a fine win for Talysarn at Gloddfa Glai.

It all started so well for Cemaes, new signing Shay Murphy edging them ahead from a fifth minute penalty before last season’s top scorer Luke McGivern made it 2-0 on 23.

Dylan Hughes hit back for Celts on 25, then Ben Hughes missed a penalty for the visitors before Jac Pearce Jones levelled things up in first half stoppage time.

Hughes-Thomas settled the game with goals on 60 and 68, both from Aled Hughes assists, and things got worse for Bay when Hughes was shown a second yellow after 73.

DIVISION ONE

Super-sub Cameron Nisbet bagged a 94th minute winner to earn Deiniolen a superb result against second-place Llangoed.

Things started badly for the Anglesey visitors when Marquis Holland missed an eighth-minute penalty and soon after Meurig Parry put Deiniolen into the lead.

Holland made amends with a 12th minute equaliser via a Mathew Owen assist, but Parry grabbed his second of the half to hand the hosts an interval lead.

And there was no further scoring until he 91st minute when Connor McNally made it two-apiece from a Robert Henderson assist.

However, there was a final twist when Ethan Kiernan set up 19-year-old Cameron Nisbet for the decider.

CPD Gaerwen 10 CPD Caernarfon Borough 2

Hat-tricks from Jamie Patterson and Brooklyn Jones helped Gaerwen rattle up a double figures victory over bottom side Borough.

Most of the goals arrived in an extraordinary first half where the net was found no less than nine times, the hosts taking an 8-1 lead into the turnaround.

Brooklyn Jones completed his treble with a 44th minute penalty, Patterson scoring twice, Calum Thomas, Jay Jones and Jordan Pritchard also on the mark, Danial Jones with a consolation for the visitors.

Thomas made it a double for the Auctioneers early in the second half and Patterson notched his third before the hour to reach 12 goals for the campaign.

Jamie Brownley claimed a second for Boro.

CPD Pentraeth 2 Llanfairpwll 3

Three goals in the closing 12 minutes turned the tables and booked Llanfairpwll a victory which did not look on the cards for most of the match.

Pentraeth deserved to be two-up through goals from Charlie Dales on 18 minutes and Ryan Shaw after 68.

In the 78th minute the visitors were thrown a lifeline when Jake Turnbull converted a penalty.

Sub Daniel Burns made it 2-2 on 87 and in the 89th Turnbull plundered the winner from an Ashley Davies assist.
