Rhys Lloyd’s 93rd minute penalty and 23rd goal of the season secured Denbigh a battling point at Clappers Lane on Sunday.

Callum Wakefield’s seventh minute net-finder was enough to give Gresford an interval lead.

Lloyd levelled for Denbigh on 77, then top-scorer Sam Bryan missed a penalty for Athletic, who nonetheless grabbed an 89th minute lead through Rhys Evans which looked like being the winner.

However, that penalty to the visitors provided the late twist which ensured honours ended even,

Harvey Hendry’s 52nd minute goal was enough to seal three points for Nomads af The Quay 3G.

Airbus UK Broughton Reserves 1 Holywell Town Development 4

Two goals apiece from Louie Doleman and sub Jamie Jones banked the Wellmen maximum points at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.

Airbus were 3-0 down before Louis Bebbington-Rodgers grabbed their consolation on 73.

Jamie Jones made it 4-1 and to add to the Wingmakers’ misery Alex Jones was red-carded in the 92nd minute.

CHAMPIONSHIP CONFERENCE

NFA U23s 4 Bala Town U21 1

Sam Parry-Jones, Lucas Edwards, James Steel and captain Harrison Roberts scored a goal apiece for NFA in a convincing win at Maes Tegid.

Sub Elliott Marshall was Bala’s sole marksman with the score at 4-0.

CPD Y Rhyl 1879 Reserves 1 Mynydd Isa U21 1

Fraser Dodd handed Mynydd Isa a 34th minute lead, but Oliwier Fiedor rescued a point for Rhyl 1879 with an equaliser after 67.
