An Independent Appeals Panel of the Football Association of Wales (FAW) has met to consider the appeal lodged by Colwyn Bay FC against the decision of the FAW Professional Game Advisory Committee Disciplinary Sub-Committee to remove the club from the 2025/26 FAW Youth Cup.
After carefully considering the evidence submitted, the Panel decided that the appeal was successful.
The Panel ordered that the 2025/26 FAW Youth Cup Round Three match between Pontypridd United and Colwyn Bay FC shall be replayed on Sunday 15 February 2026. The winner of the tie will progress to face Barry Town United AFC in the Quarter-Finals.
If Colwyn Bay FC are not satisfied with the decision, they may request the matter be referred to independent arbitration. The appeal must be lodged, in accordance with FAW Rules, no later than 5pm on Thursday 12 February 2026.
