Gaerwen advanced to the quarter-finals of the Menai Tractors Cup with an impressive win at Cae Dros yr Aber.
The Auctioneers made an early breakthrough in the fifth minute when a superb cross from Calum Thomas found the feet of Jay Finter, who made no mistake in converting.
The lead was doubled in the 13th minute, with Kieran Williams finishing well after being set up by Nathan Moore.
In the 28th minute, Gaerwen added a third, this time Thomas turning goalscorer with an assist from Jordan Pritchard.
Caernarfon Borough showed resilience and pulled one back in the 42nd minute through veteran Simon Kay, bringing the score to 3-1 at the break.
Despite the heavy pitch, Gaerwen introduced fresh legs in the second half and continued to apply pressure.Jamie Patterson added a fourth goal for the hosts, again assisted by the influential Pritchard.
Although the final scoreline stood at 4-1, Borough continued to push throughout, but Gaerwen held firm to secure their place in the league cup last eight.
Holyhead Town 5 CPD Deiniolen 0

Sion Davies was a hat-trick star for a Holyhead side which advanced into the quarters by going nap against their visitors.
Both sides created chances before Myles Jones was denied an outstanding goal for the hosts when his rocket smashed against the post.
The deadlock was finally broken on 32 minutes when a long throw into the box was turned into his own net by Dafydd Mullane.
This gave Town more belief and they took control of the game when Sion Davies cut back inside and found Craig Moore, who fired home at the near post for his 13th goal of the season.
The Harbourmen added a third shortly after when Fes Osagie’s reverse ball in to Moore saw his shot blocked, but Davies from close range made it 3-0.
The second half got underway with the pitch now getting very heavy after the rain in the first 45.
Town started brightly and got a fourth on 55 minutes whenDavies headed home a Mike Edwards corner.
Deiniolen remained a threat on the break and hit the crossbar from a long range effort.
Holyhead put the game to bed with Davies grabbing his third following a run and cross from the right by Aneurin Saunderson.

Good day for the Darans who rose to 10th in the table with his nap-hand victory.
Long-serving Nidian Huws set the ball rolling by opening the scoring on 23 minutes, Dion Owen with the assist.
Seventeen-year-old ace Guto Wyn Jones soon added a second to make it 2-0 at half time.
In the 69th minute, ‘Beris notched a third through Kurt Hellfeld’s sixth goal of the season and Owen bagged his fifth of the campaign after 75.
Guto Wyn Jones completed the scoring late on with his ninth club goal of 2025-26.
DIVISION ONE

Amlwch Town 4 CPD Pentraeth 2
Cian Evans made it eight goals in four games with a double for an Amlwch side which edged up to third in Division One by outscoring Pentraeth at Lon Bach.
Cian Taylor-Gothard handed Town a ninth-minute lead before Evans notched his first on 35 and James Parker made it 3-0 before the break.
Evans completed his pair just before the hour to stretch the home lead, but to their credit Pen fought back well with goals from captain Connor O’Neill after 61 and Cai Griffiths on 72, giving the final scoreline much more respectability.
Bethesda Rovers 3 CPD Cefni 1
Tyler Mapp struck first for visitors Cefni on 22 minutes, but Joshua Pritchard brought Rovers level close to the break.
In the second period, the hosts went on to claim the win thanks to goals from Kian Hughes with 55 gone and Harry Jones pocketed a third on 68.
Llangoed & District 2 Llanfairpwll 1

Second-place Llangoed edged a close one at Tyddyn Paun, Aaron Evans’ double for the hosts proving crucial.
Evans delivered the breakthrough for the Puffins on 15 minutes and made it a brace after 45, captain Mathew Owen providing the assist for both goals.
Llanfairpwll were far from finished and replied on 49 through Dei Thomas, Ashley Davies assisting, but that was as close as the visitors got.
