CENTRAL WALES NORTH LADIES LEAGUE

Wrexham Foresters 7 Coedpoeth United 0

Seventeen-year-old ace Savannah Miller took top billing for Foresters with a hat-trick in Sunday’s emphatic home league win.

Miller’s fifth treble of the season put her on 21 goals in just 10 appearances this term and helped leaders Foresters make it eight straight wins with 90 scored and just four conceded.

The Wrexham side now lead the table by six points from Tregaron Turfs, who have a game in hand.

Miller struck twice in the first half, while Anna Thomas and returning player-manager Kirstie Kural were also on target.

With Coedpoeth fighting hard, the hosts were denied their customary goal deluge in the second half, but did add three more, Miller, Louise Wilson and Kural finding the net.

Kural is now on 42 goals this season from 11 matches.

Foresters are due to visit Northop Hall, who have lost just once in the league this season, on Sunday, January 25.
