Holyhead Hotspur Development players and management are certainly full of Christmas spirit.
Over the past six to eight weeks, the North Wales Coast West Development League unbeaten leaders have been welcoming donations to their Christmas Giveback initiative.
After last year’s success at Garreglwyd Residential Home this year they decided to visit Penrhos Stanley Hospital.
A club spokesman said: “The donations received from staff, players and the fans has been tremendous with special mentions to Derek Thomas, Richard Parry and Home Bargains for their tremendous work.
“We would like to thank the staff for making us feel so welcome; it was nice to get a insight of the fantastic work you do everyday as NHS Professionals and we hope we’ve made your Christmas 1% a little easier.
“Well done to the players of Holyhead Hotspur and Award Photography in bringing the Christmas spirit to the wards and patients was lovely to see. Not only are you a credit to the club on the pitch but off it also.
“We as a club wish you all a merry Christmas – stay safe enjoy and hopefully no visits to the staff of Penrhos Hospital as they’ve got sweets to enjoy!”
