Nantlle Vale made sure they will enter 2026 as Premier Division leaders after a convincing five-goal victory over Penrhyndeudraeth on Saturday.

Vale led 1-0 at half time, Llion Griffiths providing the sixth-minute goal via an Alex Kalafusz assist.

A second home goal did not arrive until the 61st minute, Ashley Owen scoring for the sixth game in a row and making it 13 for the first team this season, Griffiths this time assisting.

Aaron Griffiths added a third on 71, Owen setting up the chance.

A fourth followed after 84 before Carter Davies made it 5-0 with 89 on the clock.

Fine result on the road for Blaenau, who are up to a creditable fifth place in their first season at Premier level.

Hosts Llandegai struck first, Shaun Morris converting an eighth minute penalty, but Iwan Jones soon equalised with 10 gone.

The Quarrymen were in total control by half time, popular veteran Ceri Roberts making it 2-1 before Sion Roberts put away a spot-kick.

And that man Ceri Roberts was on the mark again before the interval with his second of the afternoon.

Assists in the first half arrived via Carwyn Jones, Deio Williams and Sion Roberts.

No further goals landed until the 93rd minute when Carwyn Jones made it 5-1, Sion Roberts with his second assist.

Llanrug United 3 Gwalchmai 0

Victorious Llanrug edged up to 10th in the standings at the expense of bottom side Gwalchmai, who are still attempting to get their first win.

Berian Llwyd broke the deadlock on 22 minutes, Deion Hughes with the assist.

Just 1-0 at the break, but on 63 the home advantage was doubled when Kevin Lloyd pocketed his 14th goal of the campaign, Owain Jones teeing up the scorer.

Hughes made sure of the honours with goal number three after 84 minutes, Tom Verburg in the assister’s role.
