FAW National Reserve League North: McGoona hits four in Bay success, Gresford stun Llandudno – right bang up to date

Holywell Town Development 2 Colwyn Bay Under-21s 4
Bay took things to the max when a four-goal hero earned them three points at the Achieve More Stadium tonight.
Max McGoona recorded a quadruple for the Seagulls, who nudged themselves into third spot, just three points behind leaders Connah’s Quay Nomads U18s.
Louis Doleman gave the Wellmen a second-minute lead, but McGoona equalised on four before converting a penalty after seven.
Holywell were reduced to 10 when Corey Voyle was red-carded on 20 minutes.
McGoona put away another spot-kick before half time to complete his hat-trick.
Eleven minutes into the second half, McGoona added a fourth to bring his season’s goals tally to 10.
Josh Acott pulled one back for Holywell on 75 – his fifth goal this term.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7
Llandudno Reserves 0 Gresford Athletic Development 2

Top-scorer Sam Bryan netted twice for Gresford to take his season’s total to 18 goals in a fantastic victory for the Colliers at fellow high-flyers Llandudno.
Bryan netted on 68 and 78 minutes, Dan Jolley and Rhys Evans with the assists.

Bulgarian 17-year-old Krasimir Kovachev bagged a 48th minute winner for Bala against Mynydd Isa on Sunday.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6
Ruthin Town Reserves 2 Holywell Town Development 2
Goalkeeper Tyler French salvaged a point for Holywell with a 90th minute equaliser at the Memorial Playing Fields.
Josh High struck first for Ruthin on nine minutes, but Louie Doleman levelled for the Wellmen after 42.
Sub Jaydon Ball restored the home lead on 69, but French had the last word with that leveller.
FRiDAY, DECEMBER 5
Airbus UK Broughton Reserves 2 Denbigh Town Reserves 3
Aled Jones, Jacob Duffy and Rhys Lloyd – with a 72nd minute winner – clinched all three points for Denbigh at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.
Harrison Phythian handed Airbus a sixth minute lead, Town hit back to go 2-1 up, but Liam Jones made it all-square in first half stoppage time.
Just the one goal arrived in the second period and it was Lloyd and his Denbigh side which bagged it.
Airbus had Jayden McConnell red-carded after 80 minutes.
