North Wales Hotshots: Corrig reaches 20 mark

With none of the leading three scoring (or not playing) at the weekend, the familiar name of Corrig McGonigle entered the Hotshots top four after reaching 20 goals for the season following back-to-back doubles for Bangor City 1876.

Joint fifth are Jamie McDaid of Menai Bridge Tigers and Kinmel Bay’s talented young forward Jacob Jones on 19 goals apiece.

Three very much in-form hitmen are up to 17 goals – Tom Hilditch of Trearddur Bay, Penycae’s Zac Davies and Joe Mitchell of Sychdyn United.

Here is the latest chart. We’ve set the bar at 15 goals in all competitions – league and cup.

Youth or veterans league goals are not included. It’s senior league and cup goals only throughout the main tiers and also reserve divisions.
