NWCFA RECREATIONAL WOMEN’S LEAGUE 2025-26

Report – November 17

CPD Merched Llanrwst Unedig 0
Mochdre Lionesses 2 (Sutcliffe 44, Roberts 58)

Two second-half goals earned Mochdre the honours in a hard-fought game on Monday night.

Both sides had chances in a first half which finished goalless.with the impressive Lindsay Bowes and Beth Smith in midfield keeping their young opponents at bay.

Smith broke down the wing, her cross finding Olivia Sutcliffe to finish coolly to make it 1-0.

It was Sutcliffe’s turn to assist 5 minutes later, setting up returning Susanne Roberts to double the lead with a smart, first touch finish.

Llanrwst worked hard to get back in the game and it needed lots of running and closing down from the Lionesses to secure the result.
