Trearddur Bay became the first team to reach the quarter-finals of the Ardal North League Cup with a 3-0 victory over Llannefydd at Bangor City Stadium.
Campbell Harrison’s side made the perfect start when Tom Taylor scored in the second minute, Ryan Price with the assist.
The lead was not doubled until the 69th minute when Toby Jones notched his sixth goal of the campaign.
Two minutes from time, Sean McCaffery made sure of Bay’s passage to the last eight when he converted from a Christoph Aziamale assist.

St Asaph are finally in credit!
Saints recorded their first league win of the season at the 12th attempt on Saturday as they turned over Bethesda Athletic 2-0 at Roe Plas Meadows.
Asaph had been on minus one point after having three deducted for failing to fulfil a fixture, but now they are on +2 – although five points adrift at the basement.
City had shown some good battling spirit at times in recent games and on this day it came good, Josh Brown giving them a fifth minute lead from a Liam Grayson assist.
Josh Roberts made it 2-0 in the 70th minute and that was enough to secure that elusive first victory.

Mynydd Isa 0 Llanrwst United 0

Stephen Chiocchi’s 36th minute red card for the hosts left them on the backfoot for the rest of the game, but they showed strong spirit and resilience to take a point.

Builth Wells 1 Dolgellau AA 2

Osian Morris’ 10th goal of the season clinched a great three points on the road for Dolgellau.
Aaron Young struck first for the visitors on 14 minutes, Lee James levelled after 26, but 17-year-old ace Morris bagged the decider to lift his team up to eighth.
Dol started the better and created many openings through Young and Morris.
The first goal arrived when Rob Evans’ quick free-kick dropped into Joey Thomas’ path. He powered down the flank and crossed into the box, Morris dummied and Gethin Evans calmly set up Young to find the back of the net.
Builth equalised when it appeared James’ header had been cleared off the line by Jake Jones, but the assistant deemed all of the ball had crossed the line and the equaliser was awarded. The hosts finished the half the strongest but Dolgellau defended well.
After the break, Dolgellau created the better chances with Morris a constant threat, so it was no surprise when he netted the winner.
Morris delivered a cross from deep which just avoided everyone in the box, but the ball was kept alive by Young. He delivered a perfect ball back across to the far post which was met by Jake Jones’ run from midfield, heading back across to Morris, who had continued his run into the six-yard area and nodded into the net.
