CWPAN SNOWDONIA FIRE PROTECTION CUP ROUND OF 16

Gwalchmai 2 CPD Mynydd Llandegai 0

Amazing goalmouth action from Maes Meurig captured by DAI SINCLAIR

Alan Owen scored twice in the first half to earn Gwalchmai a place in the Cwpan Snowdonia quarter-finals with a home victory over Mynydd Llandegai.
Owen, 33, struck in the 20th and 30th minutes to edge up to nine goals this season for Gwalch, who became the 10th club of his career in the summer.
It was a hard-fought but deserved win for Craig Evans’ Ynys Môn side, who have recorded some great cup results this season despite struggling in the league, having had to build a new squad following a difficult build-up to 2025-26.

CPD Llannerchymedd 0 Talysarn Celts 1

Llun: JOHN ELFRYN OWEN – Diolch

Aled Jones’ fifth-minute goal was enough to win the day for Talysarn at Tan Parc.
A previous meeting between this pair last month in the league at Gloddfa Glai had ended 1-1.
Lewis Connor was red-carded for Medd in the 64th minute, while Dion Owen also received a red after the final whistle.

Bontnewydd 2 Nantlle Vale 2 (Nantlle Vale won 4-1 on penalties)

Penalties decided the outcome at Cae Stanley where Nantlle Vale showed more composure from the spot.
The game itself ended 2-2, Bont leading twice via Damien Smith on 15 minutes and Ryan Allsup after 52, Ashley Owen responding for Vale with 24 on the clock.
It looked like the hosts were going through until Aaron Griffiths levelled in the 94th minute, necessitating the shootout where Vale came out on top 4-1.

Llanrug United 0 Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs 4

No stopping Blaenau at Eithin Duon, where they had previously won 6-1 in the league back in August.
Sion Roberts bagged a first-half brace for the Quarrymen, Mabon Owen making it 3-0 on 51 minutes before Deio Williams added number four after 81.

CPD Llanystumdwy 1 CPD Boded 5

Tomos Williams made it five goals in two games for Boded as his hat-trick led the Ynys Môn outfit to a 5-1 success at Parc Dwyfor.
Williams struck first on 10 minutes from a Dylan Griffith assist and that goal was all that separated the teams at the break.
In the early stages of the second half, Griffith and Josh Owen both found the net, Osian Cai Williams and Tom Kelly with the assists respectively.
Tomos Williams completed his treble with goals on 71 and 85, Kelly and Tony Roberts the suppliers. Sub Rhodri Jones pocketed an 81st minute consolation for Llan.

CPD Nefyn United 3 Cemaes Bay 1

Tomi Treble Evans

Nefyn recovered from a goal down to knock out Cemaes Bay at Cae’r Delyn.
Asa Thomas’ 13th goal of the season on 38 minutes ensured Cemaes were one-up at the interval, but after the restart that man Tomi Jones Evans made it three hat-tricks in four matches for the Penwaig, netting on 77, 86 and 88. He is on 15 for the campaign.

CPD Penrhyndeudraeth 2 CPD Llanberis 2 (Penrhyndeudraeth won 4-2 on pens)

Goalscoring keeper Dylan Roberts

Penrhyn needed an 88th minute equaliser from Dylan Davies to force a penalties contest which they won 4-2.
An Aled Pritchard ninth-minute own goal put the hosts ahead, but Ian Williams made it 1-1 after 33.
Darans keeper Dylan Roberts then scored on 61 to make it 2-1 and the visitors were going through until Davies levelled it late.
Llanberis glovesman Roberts also netted in this competition last season, grabbing the winner in the final against Cemaes Bay with a monster effort from his own box.
