Bees are buzzing, Llanrwst on fire – North Wales Women’s Recreational League latest

NORTH WALES WOMEN’S RECREATIONAL LEAGUE REPORTS – MONDAY, OCTOBER 20

CPD Merched Llanrwst Unedig 5 Prestatyn Ath Dragonhearts 2

A fantastic win for a Llanrwst side which trailed 2-0 at the break but stormed back to claim the victory with five second half goals.

Prestatyn took a two-goal lead with a dominant first half performance, Jade Davies and Caroline Davies on target.

It was an unstoppable 25 yard wonder strike from Hannah Christie that got Llanrwst back into the game.

With Prestatyn tiring, Christie fired in another wonder strike to even things up,

In the last quarter of the match, goal machine Alaw Hughes fired in a hat-trick to complete the scoring, boosting her tally to six in three games.
