Early days in the 2025-26 season, but still a good opportunity to assess how our Super 12 have performed so far.

At the start of every season Grassroots North Wales chooses 12 or 15 women players who we think will make a big impact over the next 9 months.

This season it’s 12 – the men are the Dynamic Dozen and the women are the Super 12.

Holly Owen Roberts (CPDM Bangor)

Wales under-16 attacking midfielder has made a fine start to the season for her new club CPDM Bangor.
She has played in four matches so far, scoring a late equaliser in the Adran Trophy against Flint Town United, who then netted soon after to claim a 2-1 victory.
Holly has also provided three assists, including two in Bangor’s 5-1 thrashing of Berriew in their opening league game.

Anna Jones (CPDM Y Felinheli)

Has made three appearances so far for new club Felinheli, scoring on her debut in a 3-1 NWCFA Challenge Cup win at Llangefni Town, also supplying an assist.
With an impressive career to date which has seen her play for Caernarfon Town, Llandudno, Chester and Tranmere Rovers, Anna’s experience and quality will be crucial to Felin in the forthcoming months.

Lexi Walsh (Kinmel Bay)

Lexi has considerable heading skills as well as dynamite boots

Not a bad time to be assessing Lexi’s early season form – two days after scoring FIVE times in a 6-1 win at Denbigh Town which put Kinmel Bay top of the North Wales Coast Women’s League!
Has scored in every first team game played so far in 2025-26 – 10 goals in five appearances.
This 16-year-old phenomenon debuted for the senior side in February and has bagged 25 goals in just 12 matches to date..

Elin Roberts (Llangefni Town)

Exciting summer signing who made a big impact with The New Saints Under-19 side last season.
As George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley once sang: ‘Young Guns Go For It’ and Elin is one of a trio of youth players showing tremendous promise at Cefni, Amber Brown and Milly Lowe alongside her.
Elin has made four appearances so far for a Town side which will be pushing hard to finish top of the North Wales Coast League this term.

Hannah Owen (Llandudno)

Has adapted brilliantly to life in Tier 2 with her new club Llandudno, scoring in three of four matches so far.
Having shone for both Llangefni Town and Ynys Môn over the past four seasons, she is now excelling at the Go Goodwins Stadium with her dynamic wing play.
Llandudno have started 2025-26 in fine fettle and the lively form of Hannah has been a big factor in that.

Becca Eagles (Flint Town United)

Has hit the ground running for her new club, scoring twice on her debut in a 3-2 Adran Trophy triumph over Llanfair United, including a late winner.
This attacking midfielder with sublime passing ability and set-piece genius has been a central part of a Flint outfit which has made an unbeaten start to the campaign.
Undoubtedly one of the signings of the summer in North Wales football.

Magi Pierce (CPDM Henllan)

One of the stars of Henllan’s debut season has started her second campaign with the senior side in magnificent form.
Captain Magi netted her first goal for the team in a narrow 4-3 defeat at Llanystumdwy and provided an assist for Lleucu Williams in the Vale of Clwyd side’s 1-0 success over Denbigh Town.
While predominantly a defender, this gifted youngster can also operate effectively in an advanced role and this versatility will be vital for her team in the months ahead.

Sian Moore (CPDM Pwllheli)

Has picked up where she left off last season, scoring three times in her opening five games of 2025-26.
Having not found the net previously for Pwllheli when employed mainly in defence, Sian was a revelation in an attacking berth last term, bagging 11 goals.
This season she struck twice in a 6-1 win at Trearddur Bay and also made the scoresheet in a narrow NWCFA Challenge Cup loss at Bangor. Has also provided three assists so far.

Menna Evans (CPDM Bangor)

Menna continues to thrive in a Bangor shirt with goals scored in her team’s opening two victories against Pwllheli in the Challenge Cup and Llangefni Town in the Adran Trophy.
This dynamic forward boosted her growing reputation further by standing out for Ynys Môn in the summer Island Games in Orkney.
Has a great record of 23 goals in 47 appearances for Bangor.

Beth Jones (Llangefni Town)

Hard-working defender has appeared in all four of Llangefni’s matches so far and continues to show the consistency which has long earned her a regular place in the side.
Beth’s experience at the back is likely to be a key factor in Cefni’s chase for honours in their fifth season since formation.
Before the season started, Beth had already impressed for Ynys Môn in the Island Games over the summer.

Shelby Wild (Kinmel Bay)

‘Safe Hands’ has started the season in fine form like the rest of the Kinmel Bay side who are on a run of 12 matches undefeated in all competitions.
One of the best keepers in the North Wales Coast League, this superb shot-stopper has appeared in victories over Denbigh Town, Llanystumdwy and Pwllheli this term.
This is shaping into a big season for Kinmel Bay, and they know they can rely on the goalkeeping skills of Shelby to help them along.

Elan Evans (Caernarfon Town)

Elan was part of the Caernarfon Town team which won 8-3 at Trearddur Bay last weekend

Another of the amazing young striking talents playing in North Wales football right now.
Despite playing in a side which has struggled at the wrong end of the table, this 17-year-old dynamo has scored 23 goals in 24 first team appearances for Caernarfon.
She has already notched eight goals in four games this term, pocketing hat-tricks against Kinmel Bay and Trearddur Bay.
One to watch closely in the months ahead.
