Big news: A new senior cup competition is on its way in North East Wales!

Thereโ€™s a new cup competition being launched in North East Wales!
๐ˆ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐„๐–๐…๐€ ๐“๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ก๐ฒ!
A brand new 16-team competition will involve NEWFA Division Two and Three clubs.
Hereโ€™s how it worksโ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆ..

  • 16 teams enter into a league phase in one of four pots. Each side will be scheduled twice against each of the other three pots to determine their fixtures.
  • Each team will play six games, three at home and three away and be ranked via an overall league table.
  • Once the six games have been played and the rankings are confirmed, the next stage will be determined via the following:

Top Four: Qualify for the Knockouts

5th-12th: Enter a Playoffย 

13th-16th: Eliminatedย 

Fixtures will begin on October 18th

18/10: Pot 4 v Pot 2, Pot 3 v Pot 1
25/10: Pot 1 v Pot 4, Pot 2 v Pot 3
01/11: Pot 1 v Pot 2, Pot 3 v Pot 4
15/11: Pot 4 v Pot 1, Pot 3 v Pot 2
22/11: Pot 1 v Pot 3, Pot 2 v Pot 4
29/11: Pot 2 v Pot 1, Pot 4 v Pot 3
