Women’s football development league will cater for North East Wales

The newly-formed North East Wales Women’s Development League comes into being this season.

FIVE teams will compete, namely:
CPD Cei Connah
Coedpoeth United
Hawarden Park
Mynydd Isa
Northop Hall Blues

Teams will play each other home and away over 10 rounds of matches between September 14, 2025 and February 1, 2026.

  • A North East Wales Women’s Football League Development Cup will also run during the season.
  • The former North East Wales Women’s Football League is now disbanded and its ex-clubs will join the new Central Wales North League
