CATCH-UP – Ardal North East: Llanuwchllyn top, good wins for Cefn Albion, Corwen, Rhos Aelwyd and Dolgellau

Dale Davies scored one and provided an assist in leaders Llanuwchllyn’s victory

Meilir Williams made it 10 goals in five games this season with a crucial double in the victory which put Llanuwchllyn top of Ardal North East.

Williams, who recently reached 100 goals for the club, scored on four and 45+2, with Dale Davies setting the ball rolling by netting in the second minute from a Steffan Dolben assist.

Davies then set up Williams for his first and captain Joe Vaughan assisted for number three against his former club,

Radnor Valley 0 Corwen 4

Calum Butler was a hat-trick hero for Corwen, scoring his first goals since the opening day of the season in a 3-1 Welsh Cup triumph at Prestatyn Town.

Captain Pat Hinchcliffe was also on target for the visitors, who edge up to third.

CPD Rhos Aelwyd 4 Builth Wells 1

On-form Aelwyd stretched their unbeaten record in all competitions since the start of the season to six matches.

Aled Parry, captain Declan Molyneux, Ryan Jenkins and James Rumsey bagged the goals which thrashed Builth Wells, who replied through Ryan Powell.

Cefn Albion 4 Kerry 2

Second-place Albion made it four wins out of five, Alex Williams netting twice to make it seven goals this term, 16-year-old ace Thomas Broadhurst and Dion Gibbins also on target for the hosts, James Stovell and Jamie Huxley replying for Kerry.

Dolgellau Athletic 6 Lex XI 2

Wiliam Gruffydd pocketed a hat-trick for resounding winners Dolgellau, Ioan Roberts, Dennis Bates and Gerwyn Williams adding one each, Seb Kidd getting both for Lex to make it four in three games.

Knighton Town 3 Penycae 3

Osian Williams, Ben Buley and Thomas Edwards (pen) shared the goals for Penycae, while Kieran Dovey (2, 1 pen) and Taylor Wozencraft (pen) hit back for Knighton in a 3-3 cracker.

Bow Street 0 Llandrindod Wells 2

Samed De Groot and sub Daniel Hall scored early and late respectively to bank the points for Llandrindod, Rhys Hughes missing a penalty for disappointing Bow.
