LOCK STOCK ARDAL NORTH EAST LEAGUE – REPORTS AND TABLE AUGUST 12

Llanuwchllyn 3 Bow Street 1

A game which featured four sendings off saw last season’s third-place finishers Llanuwchllyn defeat the 2024-25 runners-up Bow Street.
Taylor Watts gave the visitors a 13th minute lead, but on the half-hour, Meirion Pughe set up Meilir Williams for his 102nd club goal.
Five minutes into the second half, Gwydion Ifan edged Llan in front, but on the hour the hosts were down to 10 after Kyle Jones was shown a second yellow.
Despite this disadvantage, Sion Tudor’s side made it 3-1 on 88 minutes through Will Owen.
In a stormy end to the game, Llan’s Owen was shown a red card, as were Bow’s Nathan Pemberthy and Garmon Nutting.

Builth Wells 1 Knighton Town 3

Unbeaten Knighton kept their run going, Kieran Dovey, Sam Hoyle and Luke Boundford (pen) sharing the goals with Oliver Woods (pen) responding.

Kerry 1 Radnor Valley 0

Kerry claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over visiting Radnor Valley at a warm Dolforgan Park, reports Stuart Townsend.
The Goats were presented with an opportunity to open the scoring nine minutes before the interval but Jack Clarke saw his penalty saved by youngster Riley Bellamore.
The only goal of the evening arrived in the 67th minute when an unmarked Neil Mitchell headed past Otto Jones from close-range via a Fin Bellamore cross on the left.
Radnor continued to push for an equaliser during the closing stages but were unable to find a way past the steadfast Lambs rearguard.

Lex XI 1 Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant 3

Seb Kidd’s 12th minute goal gave Lex a lead they held until 74 was on the clock when David France levelled.
Billy Clarke and sub Will Howard then added further away goals to seal Llan the points.

Llandrindod Wells 2 Llanfair United 1

Nyle Slade and Liam Hall put Llandrindod two in front before Tomos Jones replied on 56 minutes, but 2-1 to the hosts is how it stayed.

Llangollen Town 0 Cefn Albion 2

Torne Samuels (penalty) and Callum Mannion both scored in the first half, securing a win which edged Albion up to second at the expense of the bottom side.

Penycae 1 CPD Rhos Aelwyd 3

Great result for Rhos in a Wrexham-area derby where they ended Penycae’s unbeaten start thanks to goals from Aled Parry (2) and Scott Reeves, sub Jack Orbell with a consolation for the hosts.
