Flint Town United Ladies are involved in a new partnership which is sure to get them in the peak of fitness for the new season.
The Adran North team are preparing for their second season in Tier 2 – and with the help of Fervid Fitness of Flint they are getting into great shape.
A team statement said: “We’re proud to announce our new partnership with Fervid Fitness.
“This collaboration means our players will have access to top-tier training facilities, support to grow stronger and a community that shares our drive for excellence.
“A huge thank you to the Fervid team for believing in our vision. Here’s to building strength on and off the pitch.”
Last Sunday saw Flint play a pre-season friendly against Lancashire club Haslingden of the North West Women’s Regional League Division One North.
The Silkwomen triumphed 2-1 thanks to goals from Daisy Hughes and Zoe Stopford.
Despite an early goal from the visitors, Flint showed incredible determination, teamwork and skill, equalising soon after the restart and going on to secure a well-deserved victory.
Special guests were Flint’s Mayor, Councillor Russ Davies and Mayoress, Councillor Norma Davies.
