Latest news from the Ynys Môn Island Games football camp

There is a change of venue for Ynys Môn men’s first warm-up match in preparation for the 2025 Island Games in Orkney.

Anglesey will now take on Trearddur Bay in a friendly on the 3G at Treborth, Bangor University, this Friday, June 13, 7 pm kick-off.

Entry is £3, free to U16’s and over 65’s

The following Friday, June 20, Treborth will again host a game, this time between Ynys Môn and Denbigh Town of the JD Cymru North, kick-off 7.30 pm.

Then on Saturday, June 28, another Cymru North side provides the opposition for Môn in Llandudno, 2.30 pm start at the Go Goodwins Stadium.

Ynys Môn women, who drew 4-4 in their opening warm-up against Llandudno last week, have another friendly on Sunday, June 29, away to Isle of Man, 2 pm ko at Airbus UK Broughton.

The 20th International Island Games take place from July 12-18.

Fixtures have now been released for the men’s and women’s football tournaments.

The men are in a group alongside Western Isles and Bermuda, while the women are paired with Hitra and Western Isles.
